Business/Features/Invoicing

Raise an invoice in a minute, and watch it close itself when the money lands.

Branded invoices with a live preview, sent when you say so and closed when the payment lands in your bank. Quotes, credit notes and recurring invoices sit in the same place.

Invoicing is included in Business Pro, £19 a month plus VAT.

Your invoice, in your colours, built as you type.

Pick one of four formats, add your logo and set your colours. The preview beside the form is the document your customer will see, so there are no surprises when you send it.

  • Professional, Modern, Minimal or Classic, with your primary, secondary and accent colours.
  • A VAT rate on every line, payment terms that set the due date, numbers that run in order and saved lines you use often.

When the money lands, the invoice closes itself.

Your bank feed brings the payment in. When it’s clear which customer paid, the money is allocated to their invoices and they’re marked paid. If it isn’t clear, it waits in Match Review for you to confirm.

  • Part payments are tracked, so you always see what’s left to pay.
  • One payment covering several invoices is split across them.

Quote first, and turn it into an invoice when they say yes.

Send a quote from the same place you invoice. When the customer agrees, Convert to invoice turns it into an invoice without typing it again.

  • Draft, issue and send are separate steps, so nothing reaches a customer until you press Send invoice.
  • An issued invoice is corrected with a credit note, so your history stays complete.
Rolling outCard payments and Direct DebitA Pay Now button in the invoice email, so customers can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe. Direct Debit collection through GoCardless, with rules for when it collects. Both are being switched on for accounts in stages.
Recurring invoices, raised on the daySet one up monthly, quarterly or yearly, with a start date and either an end date or a number of invoices. Each one is raised and posted to your books on its date, ready for you to send.
