Financial IQ ("we", "our", "us") operates financialiq.co.uk and related applications including FIQ Personal and FIQ Corporate. This policy explains how we process personal data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. Data we collect

We collect account and identity data (for example name and email), product usage data, support communications, and financial data you choose to add to the platform.

If you connect bank accounts through Open Banking, we receive account and transaction data through authorised providers. We do not store bank login credentials.

We also process technical data such as device information, browser type, IP-derived location, and cookie identifiers used for core operations, analytics, and attribution.

3. Lawful basis for processing

We process personal data under one or more lawful bases: performance of contract (to provide requested services), legitimate interests (service security, fraud prevention, analytics, and product improvement), legal obligation (tax, accounting, and compliance record keeping), and consent where required (for certain cookies and optional marketing communications).

4. How we use your data

We use data to operate accounts, deliver product features, provide support, personalise educational content, monitor platform performance, and communicate service updates.

We may use aggregated or de-identified data for reporting, forecasting, and product development. We do not sell your personal data.
