Your share register kept from the same records as your books, and checked against Companies House.
Record who owns the company and every change to its shares. Each change shows what it posts to the ledger and which Companies House forms it needs, and the register is checked against the public record.
Share capital and directors are part of Business Pro, £19 a month plus VAT.
Every change is dated, and posted where it should be.
Each change updates the register from the date it happened and posts to the ledger where it should. Before you save, you see what it does to the ledger, the register and the forms Companies House will expect.

Common questions
Does it file share forms, such as a return of allotment?
No. Each change lists the forms Companies House needs and when they are due, such as an SH01 within a month of new shares being allotted. Filing them is yours or your accountant's to do.
Can it handle partly paid shares?
Yes. Shares can be issued partly paid, and later calls and forfeitures are recorded against them.
Can I start from what Companies House already holds?
Yes. If your register is empty, bring it in from Companies House. Any filings FIQ could not read are listed so you can check them.
Does it prepare the confirmation statement?
Not yet. The confirmation statement (CS01) and the PSC register are coming soon. Until then, file the confirmation statement with Companies House as you do now.
