Receipts and bills reach the books, and everything else is kept with its dates.
Upload a file, take a photo on your phone or forward an email, and Financial IQ reads it and asks two questions: what it is, and whether it has been paid. Bills and receipts go to the books. Insurance, loans, leases and bank statements are kept as records, with the dates that matter.
Two questions per document, and then it’s filed.
Each document is read field by field, with a score for how well it was read. You answer what it is and whether it has been paid. If it was paid from a business account or card, it is matched to the bank payment so it is not counted twice.
- Upload, take a photo on your phone, or forward an email to the company's own address.
- Approve trusted drafts files the high-confidence ones together, once you press it.
Paid for it yourself? It is credited to your director’s loan.
Answer “Yes, a director paid personally” and the company owes the money back to that director, on their loan account. The other answers cover the rest of what turns up.
Policies and leases kept with the dates that matter.
Records carry a renewal, expiry, review or maturity date, and anything due within 60 days is flagged. Bank statements are listed one per account per month, so a missing month is plain to see.
- A month you know will have no statement can be marked Not issued, with the reason.
- Each group shows how long to keep it, such as seven years. That is guidance only, and nothing is deleted.
