Six ways to budget, and the setup wizard does the first split for you.

Choose a method, preview how your monthly income divides across a starter set of categories, then apply it. You can change any figure afterwards, or switch method.

50 / 30 / 20
Half on needs, a third on wants, a fifth saved, drawn as one bar.
Zero-Based
Every pound of income given a job, until nothing is left unplanned.

Saving comes off the top, and the rest is yours to spend.
Envelope
A set amount for each category, so you can see what each one has left.
Anti-Budget
One monthly savings target and nothing else to track.
Custom
Your own categories and amounts, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly.

See what’s left in each category, and which bills are already spoken for.

Every category shows what you’ve spent, what’s left and how many days remain in the cycle. If one is running hot, it says so while there’s still time to adjust.

  • Committed and flexible spending shown apart, so bills don't eat into what looks spare.
  • A pace warning before a category runs out, then a plain “over” if it does.

Every goal shows how far you’ve got and how many months are left.

Link a goal to a savings account and it tracks the balance on its own, or add money to it by hand. Months to target come from what you plan to put in each month.

  • Emergency fund, savings, debt payoff, investment, experience, retirement, or your own.
  • A funding plan that splits your monthly surplus across goals: deadline first, safety first, priority order, even or proportional.

Common questions

Does it move money into my goals?
No. It tracks money you move yourself, either from a linked savings account or when you add it by hand.
My income changes month to month. Can I still budget?
Yes. Irregular income is counted cautiously when it works out what you have to budget, and you can type in your own monthly figure instead.
Can I switch method later?
Yes. Run the setup wizard again with a different method, or keep your categories and just change the amounts.
